This is a working draft covering the data Hub actually collects and how it's used. It should be checked by a solicitor before the site takes real customer orders or payments, and the placeholders below need filling in with your actual company details.

Modulus Hub ("Hub", "we", "us") is operated by Modulus Group Limited [registered company number: PLACEHOLDER, registered address: PLACEHOLDER]. This policy explains what personal data we collect through modulus-hub.uk, why, and what your rights are.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers visitors to the Hub website, partners who sign up to the Partner Network, and anyone who contacts us through the site. It does not cover the individual Modulus brand websites (e.g. Autocare, Homecare) once you leave Hub to visit them — each of those has its own privacy policy.

2. What we collect

If you just browse the site

Basic technical data via cookies (see our Cookie Preferences) — currently limited to what's needed to keep you logged in if you have a partner account.

If you apply to the Partner Network

Name and email address
A password (stored securely, hashed — we never see or store it in plain text)
Which partner tier you apply as (Creator, Affiliate, Professional, Stockist)
Which brands you opt in to promote, and the referral links you generate
Click activity on links you generate, so we can calculate commission owed to you

If you use the Partner Forum

Threads and replies you post, associated with your partner account

3. Why we use it

We use your data to run your partner account, process commission and payouts, respond to support queries, and keep the site secure. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We don't share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Where a sale is attributed to your referral link, the relevant Modulus brand's store (e.g. an order placed via WooCommerce) may see that a coupon or code was used, but does not receive your Hub account details directly.

5. How long we keep it

We keep partner account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and commission-dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you logged in. We don't currently run analytics or marketing cookies — if that changes, you'll be asked for consent first via the cookie preferences tool linked in the footer of every page.
